It is a brand new year and I guess it is really a long time since I last update my blog and I am really glad that it is still around and not being deleted :)
So many things going on recently and I am really having problems remembering them with my puny CMI memory. The first to update is I kena a 9 pts summon after 5 yrs of driving !!! Come as a big attack to me considering how much I wish to keep a clean record (not that I am trying very hard to considering the speeding I always do) BUT it happened on the day before my birthday !!! And last year's birthday surprise was really well done ! minus some small glitches. Well done ppl for using my two trusted baobeis to 'trick' me BUT too bad u guys forgot to park ur car in the correct places. haha... :p anyway it is still a very pleasant surprise and first time i kena summon and my feeling still not that bad. So the very first black mark in my driving career, think it is time for me to give up on the defensive driving course and advance driving course le.... :(
And amazing I was out for almost everyday since 24th to 27 !!! But my fading memory does me no good in remembering what I did cause I was out with the same person and the sequence with which events occur just jumble up. BUT if I am not wrong with the chronological order, the first one should be a movie in jubilee... eh.. watching... eh... oh yah... Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 ! Sort of prefer the first one better. Next to update is the 'amazing' response I get from a person whom wants to remain unnamed is the lack of response from a surprise that was given. Oh well, better luck next time, or perhaps it was really not surprising at all. Next time should add some party poppers or something that really comes with a big bang when opened to have some real surprise (X_X). Next of course that I rememebered most clearly was the super embrassing moment that I saw and it clearly matches well with stories told by my malay technician. The situation is I ordered a set dinner in crystal jade and first dish was coffee chicken which was nice and not too coffee-ly, second dish was prawns with shell fried in salt and pepper, salt and pepper, something I like a lot, okay, let's not digress. While I was busy munching and enjoying the food, the waitress served a bowl of 'soup' and as I was busy munching, I could not hear what she said and I asked my friend and my friend told me it is for the prawns which made me really puzzled. And before I was able to realised what it really was, my friend dip the spoon in and tasted it telling me it is not nice at all. Then the malay story struck my mind and I asked the waitress and the 'soup' turns out to be water for washing hand... hmm..... talk about evil, I was laughing non stop and ended getting retribution by accidentally knocking over my honey drink and making my feet all sticky. (So morale of this story: Place your glass of drink in a safe place before laughing at someone. :p)

Next to update is the amazing place I went for the new year countdown !!! I can bet no one will be able to guess it right, It was in a temple, sort of a blessing kind of count down for good health and world peace, I guess that is really important so I forgo the fireworks and went to the temple to join my family. After that went to meet JQ by getting the Honda Diracc, finally using it again after so long, really waste of the membership fees sia. Shortly after the drive, both of us concluded that the civic hybrid was a nice car but it is just too slow..... It is all about driving and trying really hard to conserve the momentum, once you lose the momentum, you got yourself a really slow car. Went to TCC at changi, I tried to order something refreshing but it turns out to be toooooo refreshing and it comes in mint ! something I really hated. (@.@) and the pie JQ ordered tasted like mussels (X.X). No more TCC for me !

One of the day, I went to watch Sherlock Holmes, really nice show, quite unexpected of it and I really dislike midnight shows if not for the few tixs that I manage to get due to my friend's agony over his GF's unwillingness to watch the movie at late night after her long hours of working and my friend's fault for not informing her beforehand and making the decision to buy two tixs for a midnight show.. phew... In short, I get to watch the show for free ! :p until he demand the money back from me.

Another really crazy thing I did was, had a movie that was going to start at 740pm in cathay, reached parkmall at 650pm cause wanted to eat fish & co. Walked into fish & co hoping to have a quick dinner so my friend say, seafood platter for 1. I was thinking why not seafood platter for 2.. hmm... then my friend counter by saying why not seafood platter for 1 PLUS chilli crab ! COOL, and we ordered and totally forgotting about the movie time until after a long wait for the food to come, we realised that it is really late and we will be late for the movie by about 10 mins UNTIL the food came and I thought, well, guess we are going to miss more than 10 mins of the movie SO came one super er xin thought, change the show timing again to another day !!!! And it works, wahaha...

A new day of a new year at work. M is back from US and I was talking to M for the whole morning on all the research stuffs until afternoon came a shocking news for me. M got chicken poxs !!!!!!!!! I am already starting to itch... Argh....

Hence today morning went to take a vaccine jab for chicken pox and the doctor said it quite convicingly, "It is not 100% that you will be immune BUT even if you get it, it will be less serious sounds good to me and next is the chances of me getting inflicted due to the moring contact is only 1% if I take the jab okay, I am convince as long I do not get it. The jab made me all dizzy and I went back home to sleep until office called me to settle some things... X!#%$#^ can't they leave me along.... but anyway that is all for now that my memory can remember. Tata
